Halle turned one a couple weeks ago. Her birthday was a fun day for all of us. First, in the morning my mom and I took the kids to Thanksgiving Point to see the farm animals. I wanted to do something special on her birthday and Halle and Luke love animals so this was the perfect fit. It was really fun, the kids loved it. Luke loved the animals and had fun feeding the ducks, chickens, and riding the horses.
Then we came home and got ready for Halle’s birthday party. We had dinner and then opened presents. Luke was very helpful during present opening and of course helped Halle open her presents since she is still learning :). He also helped daddy put together the horse Halle got with his tools. Also, Halle started walking on her birthday! She is really pretty good at keeping her balance until “someone” (aka big brother) runs and accidently bumps into her! He is a very good big brother and was singing Happy Birthday to her all day and also helped her learn how to hold up one finger to say she is one year old.
