First soccer experience

We signed Luke up for a little Soccer league for three year olds. They don't actually play on teams, they go and do drills and learn how to kick the ball ad things like that. It lasted a few weeks and Luke had fun with it!

Staying with Grandma Lori and Grandpa Sheldon

While Mommy and Daddy went to New York for a trip Luke and Halle got to stay at Grandma Lori's and Grandpa Sheldon's house for a sleepover for a few nights! They had lots of fun while they were there.

It snowed one day and the kids had fun playing in the snow and building snowmen with Grandpa!

They made a whole snowman family!

Luke loves Jesus

The other day we were driving down the freeway and Luke said, “Mommy, where do all the houses, cars and tractors come from?”

Answering without really thinking I said, “I’m not sure.”

He said, “I know, Jesus made them.”

One night we were reading a book that is one of Luke's favorites called "All the World". It is a really sweet book about the world and how we are all a part of it. It has a little boy and girl in it and I have often told Luke the little boy is like him and the little girl is like Halle. That night when we got that book out I asked him who that book reminds me of, expecting him to answer Luke and Halle. But he said, "It reminds me of Jesus." I was so surprised and touched at this response - I had never said anything to him about this book reminding me about Jesus but once he said that I realized it really does and thought that was so cute he came to that conclusion all on his own.

Some sayings by Luke

The other day Luke was eating lunch and Halle had already finished and was starting to attack Luke’s plate of food and he said, “Mommy, I’m going crazy with this Halle girl!”

My mom and dad bought a waverunner and are keeping it in our third car garage. Luke didn’t know it was there and the other day we were out in the garage about to get in the car to go somewhere and he saw it and said, “Mommy, we have a bobby boat in our garage!”

I responded, “Yes, it’s Bobby Boat’s little brother. It’s Grandma and Grandpa’s and they are letting us keep it in our garage.”

He was so excited and responded, “That is so nice of them!”
