Having fun watching Luke ride his bike over dirt jump hills in the empty lot across the street and cracking up while he hums his own theme music to himself as he goes, in between repeatedly assuring me "mom, this is completely safe!"

Fun temple
Today Luke spent a lot of time building a "fun temple." I thought it was very cute and creative. It has a pool, a diving board, and a gold basketball man statue, just like there's an angel Moroni on the LDS temples. Also, as you will see from the sign, inside the temple we must be reverent :). He has such a great imagination.

Dog fort
Luke and his best friend Brennan have been hard at work making a fort for Milly. This dog puts up with a lot! She actually seems to be liking it. After making the fort they enjoyed some otter pops. Fun summer days :).

Daddy's birthday card
I am dying over how cute these pictures are the kids drew Daddy for his birthday. They worked so hard and long on them.
Here's Luke's. So cute! He loves going fishing with his Daddy!

4th of July cupcakes
Yesterday we had fun making 4th of July cupcakes with Grandma Lori. They turned out cute and yummy! We have been lucky having Grandma Lori around a lot lately helping out because mommy has been very sick being pregnant with our twins on the way! We are very lucky we have such an awesome grandma who wants to help out and loves her grand kids so much!

Father's Day
Luke was so excited to give Daddy his Father's Day present. He made Cory this tie for Father's Day at school.
And also filled this out about his Daddy. Love his answers!

Graduating Kindergarten!
Luke had such a good year in Kindergarten! His teacher, Mrs. Elder, was awesome. She has been so sweet and loving and such an excellent teacher. She did all sorts of neat projects with the kids and taught them so much. Luke learned so much! We will miss Mrs. Elder. I had fun volunteering weekly in his class and loved being there and seeing Luke in his class. I can't believe he is already done with kindergarten and will be moving on to be a big first grader! That year went by in a flash. Such a big boy! We love our Lukey guy!
His teacher had them keep a journal throughout the year that they would write and draw a picture in. It was really fun and cute to read through. Here's a few of his entries.
"I saw Grandpa's gold. It look cool. He had 20 it is worth 3300."
(This was after grandpa Sheldon showed Luke his gold coins one Sunday and Luke thought it was the coolest thing ever! Now he loves gold and talks non stop about it!)
(This was after he went to the state level for reflections and ended up getting second place in the whole state!)
