We've realized Luke has a slight British accent when he talks. For instance, he loves to say "sunny day!" when it is nice outside. The "day" comes out with a long A sound so it sounds like he has a British accent. Same thing when he says "Grandpa Dave". There are other things that do it too but these two words are the first that come to mind.
We were trying to figure this out...where does this British sounding accent come from? But then it hit us...Thomas the Tank Engine, Luke's favorite show! It is a British show and so in most of the movies the narrator and engines talk in British accents. So, we know where Luke learns to talk from, Thomas!
Luke loves trains and Thomas. For a long time, before he could even talk, he would say "Toot, toot!" when he wanted to watch Thomas. He loves it.
