I called Dave and Dixie to talk about tuxes for the wedding and asked them how it was going with the kids. Dixie said she is really sympathizing with grandparents who end up raising grandkids. She didn’t realize it would be so hard, although, of course, she is loving having them there and getting to know Halle better. It’s just that we are old! We decided if something ever happens to Lindsay and Cory we will just have to move next door to each other and raise the kids together. Cute Jamie Ferguson has been a very, very big help to Dixie. In fact, she won’t go out with her friends because she doesn’t want to leave Dixie all alone with the job of taking care of the kids. She worries her mom can’t handle it, which is silly, but it’s really nice of Jamie. Dixie said she thinks the experience has been good birth control for Jamie. Jamie won’t want to be getting married and having babies any time soon, after taking care of the kids.
